Hi!

My name is Alexandre (Alex for short).

I've been playing acoustic guitar for over 10 years. With a few breaks along the way, what started as a teenage hobby playing rock classics with friends during school breaks gradually became my greatest passion and one of the best parts of my day.

As a Brazilian living in Berlin since 2023, I've reconnected with my musical roots and returned to the styles I grew up with: MPB, Bossa Nova, and Samba. These are the genres I play most often today, although there is always room for some classic rock favorites to make a comeback.

I feel most comfortable as a rhythm guitarist, bringing those rich Bossa Nova harmonies and the groove and feel that make Brazilian music so special. I enjoy supporting the music, creating a solid foundation, and helping songs come alive.

I'm also a quick learner. If I don't know a song, just give me a few minutes to listen to it, find the chords, and get a feel for the groove, and I'll usually be ready to jump in and play along.

I'm looking for people who share a passion for Brazilian music and would like to play together, jam, or even form a group that could eventually perform publicly. Guitarists, percussionists, singers, and other musicians are all welcome. I also love the idea of mixing Brazilian music with different instruments and influences. Flutes, strings, harmonica, and many other instruments can create some really interesting sounds and unique arrangements.
