Japanese bassist in my 50s, based in Sapporo since 2020. Previously played in a 3-piece indie band in Hong Kong (bass, original material — recorded and gigged regularly). Took some time off, recently picked up bass again. New to the Japanese music scene here.
Into classic rock / blues rock — Cream, Hendrix, Pink Floyd, plus heavier stuff like Metallica. Ideally, I'd like to form a 3-piece band — guitar, bass, and drums. Instrumental is also an option.
I'm looking for a music-focused connection. We meet to play music, and there's no need for socializing outside of that. I value clear boundaries and mutual respect for each other's decisions.
On song selection: we go with unanimous agreement — if even one person is not into a song, we drop it and find another. On practice frequency: we go with whoever wants the lowest frequency, with a minimum of once a month.
